Like at the beginning of every year, I took at trip to the Priener Hut at the mountains with my sled.
I would have never believed that there really is enough snow for sledding, if people wouldn’t have suggested otherwise. 2 kilometers before I parked my car, there was nearly nothing and I seriously thought of turning around and go back home. Luckily, I haven’t!
So I was nearly alone on the 7 km long trip, except for the couples you somehow always meet walking *upwards* when every normal soul is trying to get down before sunset (still don’t know whether these people really do want to climb the way in the dark, don’t want to go to the top anyways or just don’t have a clue it’s a two hours walk).
As I did make a video already last year, I thought: „Hey, why not try to shoot some onride footage on the sled while I try to hold my DSLR(!) with my teeth?“.
Now, what did I learn?
- You can’t hold a DSLR with your teeth.
- You can’t steer your sledge with a DSLR either.
- My DSLR has a terrible owner.
- The onride is great if you love to see my hand or legs or always had the dream of have eyes in your loins. It’s not if you actually want to see something else in focus.
- I did upload it anyway, so I could finally place some Professor Kliq music into one of my mountain videos!
So don’t forget to turn up your volume!
