I follow Kevins videos since the very early days. He covered the topics that were all the very nerdy topics I am interested in and nearly everybody else was shaking their heads in disbelief.
While the internet has changed a lot about finding your soulmates, I think he still educated the public about the beautiy of being passionate about a very specific thing. Passion that a lot of people probably can’t understand but that has an underlying form of art, an underlying message of how being passionate about something makes not only great stories, but also tells us something about what it means to be human.
I mean: Who else can produce a documentary about Fastpass and reach an audience of 16 million on youtube with this?
But if you ever want to watch one of his many, many great documentaries, I recommend this one. You don’t need to be a Disney fan for this. It will still be a -quite personal- journey, that actually left me really emotional:
