This weekend, Loma and I traveled through the Rocky Sea – a 230 million year old, 160 km² large, forbidding stone dessert, a lot of which is 2000 m above sea level. It’s on the Bavarian/Salzburg border.
So getting into it takes some time. In this video, I’ll show you how we entered the area this Saturday during wind, rain and snow.
In the next video, we’ll hike deep into the dessert area with pretty much no people, no vegetation, no cell phone coverage – but a heck lot of unbelievable stones!
